During this unique class, our youngest campers will be introduced to the Pioneer Farm and the animals that live there. Collect eggs, grind corn, meet the oxen, listen to stories, sing songs, play games, and more; all in a 19th-century costume. Visiting a farm has never been more fun!

This summer we’re going old-school! Participate in authentic 19th-century lessons at the schoolhouse, barter for supplies at Altay Store and play games from the past. Meet with Historic Village craftspeople and make your own 19th-century projects to take home. You won’t want to cut this class! This is a great choice for an introduction to summer camp at GCV&M.

This particular listing is for August 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th taking place from 10am-2pm each day. The Warrior Factory Ninja Camp will include structured and unstructured activities that range from training techniques, open play, Ninja games (obstacle tag, N-I-N-J-A, Follow the Ninja, Warrior Wall Knockout), obstacle courses, and some Ninja-related activities (design a course, obstacle, t-shirt, etc.). Camp spots will be limited to maintain a safe and fun staffing ratio.

Rock Band Camp for Beginners (Week 1)

Always wondered what it takes to start a rock band? This camp not only reviews the basics of playing "rock" instruments, but will highlight elements of songwriting, marketing/promotion, and dive into the development of pop, rock, and other genres that brought us the music we hear today. This camp is best for girls entering grades 6 - 8 and playing or are looking to play guitar, bass, keys, drums, or vocals.
