Horseback riding summer camp

Camp Days will include: Arts & Crafts, Horse Care, Grooming, Bathing, Painting, and Games! Your child will be encouraged to explore and learn about horses in a safe and nurturing environment. Horseback riding & activities have numerous benefits for children such as instilling confidence, independence, and responsibility, and communication skills.

Below are a few guidelines to follow in order to make camp the best possible experience for everyone!
-DROP OFF/ PICK UP: Camp runs from 8:30-12:00pm Tuesday-Friday. Parents will check their child in at the lounge and complete waiver at time of arrival.
Pick up is at 12:00pm, please wait until 12:00 to come into the lounge to pick up/sign your child out as we meet for a few minutes before camp ends. In the event child is picked up more than 10 minutes late a $20 fee will be charged.
-PAPERWORK: Waivers will be available upon arrival the 1st day of camp. These must be completed and turned in prior to leaving your child at camp. Please bring a list of authorized people to pick up your child. For security reasons no one else will be allowed to pick up your child without prior arrangements.
WHAT TO BRING & WEAR: Riders need to arrive READ TO RIDE. This includes children dressed in Jeans or Leggings with Boots or Tennis Shoes on. For the safety of your children boots with a 1/2” heel must be worn while riding, helmets are available to use. NO SHORTS allowed when riding horses. No flip flops or sandals.
TUITION: Final payment is due upon arrival. Forms of payment accepted are cash, PayPal, or check. Please make checks payable to Cassandra Booth. Payments are non-refundable, in the event a camp session is cancelled another session will be offered. A minimum of 6 registrants is needed for each session, in the event the minimum is not met a credit will be applied to an upcoming camp of your choosing.
Please have your child bring:
● Jeans or leggings (for riding) Shorts (for after riding)
● Tennis Shoes or Boots
● Healthy snack
● Large water bottle with name labeled
● Carrots/Sliced Apples for their Horse
● Sunscreen/ Hats/ Sunglasses
*NO ELECTRONIC DEVICES ALLOWED – NO CELL PHONES PLEASE (Phones can be checked in at the lounge – Stolen /Broken/Wet Phones Possible)
