The West Side Rowing Club is a non-profit organization run by volunteers whose purpose is the advancement of the physical, mental, and moral well being of the youth of the City of Buffalo, New York and surrounding communities by education, training, instruction, and participation in the art of rowing and other athletic pursuits. WSRC offers learn to row classes to Adults during the summer months.

Join WSRC, No experience necessary! WSRC High School and Middle School teams practice in the Fall, Winter, and Spring season. The High School team practices 5-6x per week, the Middle School team practices 3x per week. We race locally and travel in NYS, the Northeast and Canada. All rowers start as Novices and learn the fundamentals of the sport, competition and the rowing stroke in their first year. 

Our Summer Crew Camp is an introduction to the sport of rowing for ages 11-16. Participants will learn the fundamentals of basic rowing technique, teamwork, and boat moving skills both on land and on water in a fun environment. 

WSRC offers full day and half day Crew Camp sessions available, as well as a Crew Camp Advanced session for experienced campers. *Times/Dates for the program can be found on the website.
