TAK Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program

Civil Air Patrol is the volunteer auxiliary of the US Air Force. The cadet program, for students ages 12-18, provides instruction and activities in aerospace and flying, emergency services including first aid and radio communication, physical fitness, military customs and courtesies, and character development. The squadrons meet for tow and a half hours each week. Cadets plan and conduct the meetings with the assistance of adult mentors. State and National activities in flight, cybersecurity, honor guard, officer training, space camps, and many others are held throughout the year. Academic and flight scholarships are also available.
