Sahlen’s Sports Park

 

Summer camps at Sahlen's Sports Park run through the end of June through the end of August. We offer soccer camps, multi-sports camps, and new for this summer, Specialty camps! Camps are 1-4 days long, with some including snacks & drinks. 

 

If you’re a player looking to improve your game in front of the goal or in the net, our Striker & Goalkeeper Camp will be right up your alley! One of our most popular camps, the Striker & Goalkeeper Camp is designed to work on finishing, shooting technique, 1v1’s to goal, and shooting competitions. For the goalkeepers, we bring on goalie coaches with playing & coaching experience that have a passion for teaching the position. Goalies will get lessons on positioning, diving technique, hand & eye coordination, as well as getting TONS of reps from all the other campers. We recommend this camp to those who have some soccer experience and are playing as a forward, a mid-fielder, as well as goalkeeper, of course! 

 

If you’re looking for a soccer camp that is great for all ages & skill levels, check out our Summer Soccer Camp! Held at Flash Fields, our Summer Soccer Camp is a great way to work on the fundamentals of soccer while playing fun games & competitions with your friends & peers. Small sided games, finishing drills, and dribbling technique will all be on display during our four-day camp this July & August! Camp will be held from 9am – 1am, with multiple water breaks and a lunch break. Inclement weather? Our indoor facility, Sahlen’s Sports Park is always an option! 

 

Have a blast at WNY’s most action-packed and all-out fun Multi-Sport Camp! Join our staff for four days of all the sports and games you can imagine; Soccer, kickball, wiffleball, capture the flag, tag, dodgeball, relay races, and so much more! Our camps are separated by age group, with snack breaks and water breaks in between. Lastly, our Multi-Sport Camp is held at Sahlen’s Sports Park, so we’ve already accommodated for inclement weather. 

Our Elite Player Development Camp was one of our most successful camps of 2021 and for great reason! This camp is for soccer players with some playing experience. Coaches work with players through technically challenging drills, competitions, and mini-games, all designed to challenge players. Split into respective age groups, coaches will also make sure players are training in groups within their skill level to ensure they’re getting the most out of the four-day camp. If you play soccer on a team all year round, train often, and are looking for a camp to push your limits, you’ll love our Elite Player Development Camp!

School’s out for the summer & we’re putting together a HUGE celebration! Join us at Sahlen’s Sports Park for a disco-themed party from 10am – 2pm. Our day will include games like soccer, dodgeball, kickball, & wiffle ball. We’ll have arts & crafts (including slime!), and even their own disco-attire they can wear throughout the day. Additionally, we’ll have a photo station set up with everything-disco where they can have their photo’s taken with their friends & siblings. Food & drinks are included and they’re welcome to bring extra money for the arcade machines if they’d like!

 

For those who love Disney, Princesses, and Fairytales, you’ll LOVE our all-new Princess Day at Sahlen’s Sports Park! Dress up as your favorite princess or movie character for a day of fun! We’ll have a make-up station, photo station, with coloring & crafts (You’ll even make your own tiara or crown!) Plus, we’ll have a projector set up for a movie while the kids enjoy their food & drink complimentary of the park. We’ll additionally have fairytale-themed games that everyone can enjoy together as a group! Lastly, the kids will get to decorate their own sugar cookies with icing, pearls, and sprinkles and enjoy them for dessert!

 

Calling all Marvel & Superhero Fans!!! Dress up as your favorite Superhero & get ready for a day filled with everything from your favorite action-packed movies at Sahlen’s Sports Park. We’ll have a hammer throw competition, you’ll decorate your own personal shield, we’ll have coloring and posters that you can take home, and we’ll even have food & drinks for everyone to enjoy. Plus, we’ll have a projector set up for a movie so the kids can enjoy some of their favorite heroes on the big screen. Lastly, we’ll have superhero-themed games that everyone can enjoy together as a group!

 

We are so excited to be adding an Arts & Crafts Camp this Summer at Sahlen’s Sports Park!!! For three days we will have all different kinds of projects planned for our campers. Activities like: Painting, sand art, coloring, photography lessons, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, tie-dye shirts (Your gift!), bead art, finger painting, slime, & Play-Doh.

We’ll also be making a custom post-card for everyone to send to their families on Day #1 and everyone will be included in the creation of the ‘Arts & Crafts Camp’ Banner that we’ll all take a picture under once the camp is complete on Wednesday!

Our Champions program is a soccer-based program split into two age groups: 2-5 & 6-11. This is great not only for kiddo's who have played soccer before, but also those who haven't tried it yet or who are just dipping their toe into sports!
