2015 SPCA HUMANE POSTER and CREATIVE WRITING CONTEST MISSION POSSIBLE! Raising the Roof on a New Shelter! Students in first through eighth grade are invited to participate in the SPCA Serving Erie County’s annual Contest!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

All school, home-schooled students, faith-based education, and boy and girl scouts in Erie County are encouraged to participate. With a chance to win prizes, students will demonstrate how they are compassionate, empathetic citizens. Teachers can also honor each other and their kind students through our Ambassador of Kindness and Humane Educator of the Year Contests.
This year's theme is MISSION POSSIBLE! RAISING THE ROOF ON A NEW SHELTER!  Each day the SPCA Serving Erie County is faced with the opportunity to give the best possible care to every animal entrusted to us. Because our current space is not equipped for today’s shelter needs, we need a new building. This year we are asking for creative ideas to help us build the best new shelter we can. The youth of today are the animal advocates of the future. If we all put our heads together, the new shelter we build will be the best possible for the animals and people of our community!

For details on the competition, select one of the options below.  Call SPCA Humane Educator Mary Jo Sicurella with any questions: 716-629-3538.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS FRIDAY, APRIL 3, 2015
