Jefferson Summer Camp

We offer full-time and part-time enrollment for ages 4-13. Featuring daily arts and crafts, sports, games, enrichment activities, and more! We are licensed by the Department of Health and are following NYS and CDC guidelines for sanitation, cleaning, and social distancing.

Ages: 4-13 (incoming Pre-K through 8th grade) - Campers will be divided up into three camps based on their age (see below for camp descriptions)
 Former Thomas Jefferson Elementary School, 250 Athens Blvd
Please park in the lots on Oakvale or Janes and enter through door 3
Dates: Monday-Friday, June 29-August 28, 2020
Hours: We are open 7:30am-6:00pm (your child does not have to come for the entire day)

Full-Time Enrollement:
$185 per week for Town of Tonawanda & Village of Kenmore residents
$235 per week for non-residents
NEW THIS YEAR: SIBLING DISCOUNT! $175 per week for resident siblings with Access Cards (must reside in same household)

Part-Time Enrollment:
Tuesday/Thursday: $75/week/child
Monday/Wednesday/Friday: $115/week/child

Payment plans may be set up if unable to pay in full at time of registration

Register online at or in-person at/by mail to the Youth, Parks & Recreation office (299 Decatur Road, Buffalo, NY 14223; Open Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm). Must have an account to register online. Activity code 316044

Any outstanding balance from previous participation in a YPR program must be paid in full before registering for camp. You must pay for at least one-third of your total balance at time of registration, if registering before May 22. 50% of your remaining balance is due by May 22 (originally scheduled for April 24) and the rest is due no later than July 3 (originally scheduled for June 5). Failure to pay remaining balance by July 3 will result in children’s removal from the camp roster for any weeks that are not paid for in full. Re-enrollment will be subject to space availability and full payment prior to enrollment.  Sorry, we are unable to make any exceptions. If you register on or after May 22, at least 50% of your total balance will be due at time of registration. If you register on or after July 3, 100% of your balance will be due at time of registration.

Important COVID-19 Changes & Updates
-Reduced number of campers
-At this time, we are not accepting non-residents
-Campers remain on-site all week/summer (no field trips, no swimming, etc.)
-Children stay in small groups through the week/summer with similar counselors
-Social distancing and use of face masks (by staff) consistent with CDC guidelines
-Parent drop-off/pick-up outside; parent responsible for assuring child is healthy
-Daily temperature checks
-Limited sharing of equipment and supplies
-Frequent hand washing/hand sanitizing
-Frequent disinfecting/cleaning/sanitizing of facilities and supplies
