Saturday we are having a free community event to highlight the Spanish language. Knowing two languages is beneficial for cognitive function, career prospects, and cultural understanding. Bilingualism enhances brainpower, improves memory and problem-solving skills, and can even delay cognitive decline. In a globalized world, knowing multiple languages can open doors to more diverse jobs opportunities and facilitate travel and cultural exchange.

To recognize the importance of the Spanish language, celebrate multilingualism, and promote cultural diversity. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) established Spanish Language Day in 2010, along with other language days for the UN's six official working languages.
