The Strong Museum Summer Camp offers unique museum-based learning experiences that will spark the imagination and allow campers to learn and discover through play and exploration. Each week campers will be provided with one-of-a-kind learning opportunities engaging with different museum professionals and exhibits along with teacher-led classroom time to further investigate and expand on these themes.

We offer overnight camp sessions for campers coming out of 3rd-12th grade. Campers who choose a Residential Camp week will stay in cabins on our 245 acre campus on the shores of Sacandaga Lake.

6 day overnight camp for 3rd-6th graders

These sessions are directed for pre-teen campers (8 1/2 to 13 years old)! From the time the campers get up in the morning until they crash into their bunks at night, each day is filled with faith, friends and fun! In addition to time in the Word of God at chapel and in the cabins, there is plenty of time for activities such as team sports, horseback riding, riflery, fishing, boating, swimming, challenge course, climbing tower and crafts.

Come spend a week immersed in crime scene investigation! From collecting evidence to analyzing the evidence in a lab, you will process a simulated crime scene and work with a group to solve the crime. This camp will provide you with hands-on experience in the field of forensic science.

Get ready for an unforgettable summer adventure with our Summer Junior Sailing Program! Running from July 30 to August 22, Monday through Friday, 9am to 4 pm, it’s perfect for kids aged 6 to 17. With seven exciting classes tailored to all skill levels, no prior experience is needed. Our US Sailing-certified instructors ensure a safe, fun, and educational experience on the water. Whether learning the basics or mastering advanced techniques, this is the ultimate summer adventure for young sailors!

Spend a week learning about the diverse settings where social work professionals are employed and how they support individuals, families, organizations, and communities in meeting their goals. Roberts Wesleyan University Social Work faculty will provide, through engaging discussion and activities, an overview of what social workers do and how they advocate for change.

Spend a week as a photographer and filmmaker! Learn the essentials of visual storytelling using professional-level DSLR cameras, video production, and audio equipment. Explore the importance of composition, lighting, depth of field, color, and more that can make even your smartphone images and videos more cinematic.

Leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and team-building skills are explored during this interactive business summer camp! Students will learn key aspects of what it takes to be a successful business leader while having fun through roleplay, faculty instruction, strategy games, hands-on activities, and more.

Spend a week learning about the clients, groups and populations occupational therapists (OTs) work with, the different settings OTs work in, and the variety of everyday life activities (occupations) OT provides to promote health, well-being, and the ability to participate in the important activities in client’s lives!
