Explore & More is proud to offer a range of classes for children and families. These classes are designed for ages 1-5 to help support the developmental needs of young children through play! So come play, learn and grow with our educators.
We will open this year in two locations for grades pre k - 12, Greece and Brighton on January 15 ,2024. Our drop off homeschool program will run for 10 weeks, 3 times a year with camps in between.
We offer live and interactive online classes of chess, piano, Rubik's Cube, guitar, mathematics, abacus, public speaking, creative writing, yoga, Python programming, Scratch coding, physics, chemistry, and language classes (Spanish, German, French)
French classes for children are offered during the school year. A French summer camp for children ages 5-11 is offered in July. Beginner and Intermediate classes available. We accomodate new learners as well as children who speak French at home.
Language-based one-time, 3, day, and 5-day classes that are theme-based; social skills/life skills group classes (K-12), as well as ongoing classes such as phonological awareness (English and Spanish), and vocabulary and listening activities.
Gravitas holds the same accreditation as its sister school and host institution the 101-year-old Stony Brook School. We provide rigorous classical academics, a robust character formation program, innovative extracurriculars, and college counseling.
All virtual classes cover pronunciation, vocabulary, new phrases, practical grammar, and culture through activities, videos, games, songs and other fun presentation elements.
Instruction for grades K-8, as well as a Montessori Children's House for ages 3-6.
After school care is provided at St. Mary School by Just for Kids until 5:30 p.m.
Spanish immersion 4-week courses offered year round. Join any time. Ages 4 - 17. Conversational immersion style. Active classes with games, songs, videos, and more. Extra videos and exercises given free.
