YouthSpark Camp: Learn to Code Flatverse

In this free, intermediate-level camp for kids ages 12 and older, students use TouchDevelop, an interactive programming environment website, to create and publish their own video game called Flatverse.
As they build their game, they're exposed to various computer programming and coding concepts, including screen coordinates, random numbers, objects and functions, and more. Throughout the series, they'll take a deeper dive into these programming and coding concepts to gain more confidence and skill. The ultimate goal is for attendees to gain an appreciation for coding’s role in the games they may play in their daily lives, and to provide an inspirational foundation for pursuing their interest in computer science.
This four-day camp lasts two hours per day, and campers must attend the days consecutively. Register your child today.
It is recommended that kids bring their own headphones for this camp, or earbuds can be provided for free at the Microsoft Store. Limit one pair of earbuds per child for the duration of the camp while supplies last. The parent, legal guardian or authorized adult caregiver of every camp participant under 17 years of age must sign a Participation Agreement upon arrival and remain in the Microsoft Store for the duration of the event.
