In honor of Memorial Day, and the selfless commitment of our nation's military personnel, from May 19-May 31 the SPCA Serving Erie County will be waiving all adoption fees* for servicemen and women who are on active duty, reserves, service-disabled veterans, and those retired from military service. (Military ID is required)
Research has shown that veterans significantly benefit from the companionship of a loving pet. This mutually beneficial relationship encourages adjustment back to civilian life for the veteran while giving the pet a new home, and a second chance. We consider this just a small expression of our gratitude for all that has been given by our military personnel on behalf of us, our country, and the freedoms of people across the globe. Thank you.
*Standard $30 administration fee will still be required.
Animals can be adopted from any SPCA location:
-Tonawanda shelter, 205 Ensminger Road
-Walden Galleria adoption site
-Eastern Hills Mall adoption site
-SPCA Offsite locations (except Tabby Town at the McKinley Mall)
