Valentine's Cookie Decorating Class

Join us for this beginner's cookie class, no experience needed! You'll leave with 10 Valentine cookies you can give as gifts or share with your friends and family. You will learn tricks to no-spread cut out cookies and get royal icing recipes which dry beautifully and leave a shine.

Cookie creations are all the rage now! Have you ever wanted to create those beautiful cookies you see on line and in bakeries? Join us for this beginner's cookie class, no experience needed! You'll leave with 10 Valentine cookies you can give as gifts or share with your friends and family.
Bring a friend for a fun evening out. You will learn tricks to no-spread cut out cookies and get royal icing recipes which dry beautifully and leave a shine.
We'll begin with discussing recipes and preparation do's and don't s. You'll learn about frosting consistencies and their uses. You will be provided with 10 cookies, 2 of each design, bags of icing, recipes and a scribe tool. We'll decorate 5 cookies together and then you'll have a chance to let your creativity take over! You will learn outlining (piping), flooding and wet on wet techniques. We'll discuss storage and packaging.
Bags, tags and boxes will be available for gifting options for an additional fee.
A break in class will provide time for dinner, if desired. A small menu will be available, along with beverages., including wine and beer. This will give your cookies time to set up a bit before layering. Class size is limited to 25 students. Registration fee is non-refundable. In the case of cancellation due to bad weather, you'll be given a choice of refund, rescheduling for another class, or a cookie kit with all the fixings for decorating on you own.
