Town of Amherst Christmas Parade

We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Christmas Parade will be held December 5, 2025, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Marching down Main Street, the parade will celebrate the holiday season by showcasing marching bands, dancers, musicians, and much, much more. The parade will take place rain or shine and will step off from Kenmore Road and travel up Main Street ending at the traffic circle. Parade-goers are encouraged to arrive early to find a spot on S. Main Street to watch the parade and to spread the festive cheer. This year’s theme is Christmas Movie Magic. We hope that you will pick your favorite Christmas movie and participate in the illumination by adorning yourself with light up apparel and accessories. Parade participants are encouraged to decorate their entries inspired by this theme.
COOKIES AND CRAFTS WITH SANTA
Prior to the parade, the Town will hold its annual Cookies and Crafts with Santa from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM inside of Town Hall.
