The second annual ‘Tortoise and the Hare 5k Race and Fun Run’ will be held at Chestnut Ridge County Park in Orchard Park, NY on April 22, 2017 and will feature a USTA Certified 5k race course and a one mile family fun run/walk through the scenic forests and hills. Runners of all ages and abilities are encouraged to register for this event and we have been outreaching to schools to increase the number of young runners and families in attendance.
We will, once again, be featuring music, food, drinks, a rock climbing wall, and a free live animal program following the race and will be handing out awards to the top runners of the day.
Registering by April 1st will ensure that you receive a t-shirt and prices go up as up April 2nd, so register TODAY!
