The Stars of Winter at the Whitworth-Ferguson Planetarium
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/10/2024
This winter we focus on winter constellations and bright planets visible from here in Buffalo. Come explore Orion, Taurus, Gemini and Auriga and some of the beautiful astronomical objects located within their boundaries such as the Pleiades star cluster, the Crab Nebula, and the Orion Nebula. Our Planetarium Educator will also explore the Winter Solstice in this live interactive program. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before show time, because late arrivals may not be seated for safety reasons in our darkened planetarium.
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
