Spooky Science Month at the Buffalo Museum of Science
This October, meet creepy crawly friends, have hair-raising engagements, and take part in themed programs, workshops, and camps that are a spooktacular mix of science and fun to get you in the spooky spirit!

What is Spooky Science Month? Starting in October, we’re bringing you a different science theme to explore every month through engaging daily activities that are included with general admission and free for members! This October, meet creepy crawly friends, have hair-raising engagements, and take part in themed programs, workshops, and camps that are a spooktacular mix of science and fun to get you in the spooky spirit!
Daily Activities (Drop in! Included with admission or membership)
- Spooky Demos: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Spooky Science Stage Shows: 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
- Touch a Bug (if you dare!): 2 -3:30 p.m.
- Mondays Only – Spooky Storytime & Activity: 10:30 a.m.
Additional Spooky Family-Friendly Programming
- October 14 – Spooky Science Discovery Camp (grades K-5)
- October 19 – Spooky Slime Family Workshop
