Snowflake Festival | Kids Out and About Buffalo

Snowflake Festival

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/06/2016
The Snowflake Festival is the Nature Center’s longest running festival! Join us this year as we add sustainable living demonstrations to favorites like snowshoes, live birds of prey presentations, nest box building, and wagon rides.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Winter is a time to enjoy nature differently than other seasons. While skiing or snowshoeing you can get a different perspective. We provide a chance to try both activities, in addition to taking horse-drawn wagon rides on our trails, watching the husky sled dog demonstrations, hiking with a naturalist, or simply standing by the fire in the back yard.

Inside we have other activities to help you get through the end of the winter season. Check the listings below to see what you can participate in while inside the Nature Center.

We will have some vendors too, who showcase their natural or sustainable products. Check back for updates, they will be listed below!
