For this exhibition, Artist Christopher Stangler has selected from his diverse approach to making Artwork which celebrates material and methods as much as nature. Connections between personal experience and materials are “recycled” into new ways of seeing.

Christopher Stangler's passion for Nature is the inspiration for his life as an Artist. For over 30 years, environmental themes have permeated his art. Christopher has completed his studies at Rochester Institute of Technology and SUNY Buffalo. Stangler, a native of Buffalo, has exhibited his environmentally based work throughout the US and locally at such places as the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Burchfield-Penney Art Center, Castellani Art Museum, Memorial Art Gallery and Erie Art Museum. His work is included in both public and private collections. As well as judging Art shows, he is a gallery owner, director, and college instructor.
