Born Leaders
Explore the lives of social animals and learn the qualities required to become a leader in the animal world.
1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
One Small Step
From large herds and flocks to the tiniest microbe every animal has an effect on its environment. Learn how we can make positive differences in our world every day through even the smallest actions.
Activities will include a combination of exhibit visits, animal information, games, songs, stories, and live animal contact. Students will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and arthropods from our Education Department animal collection. This provides each camper with the experience and thrill of live animal contact under well-supervised conditions.
