This series of oil paintings features colorful representations of flower petals, based on her time spent in flower stores. “Inspired by my time working in a floral shop, this series paintings explores the unexpected beauty in the discarded remnants of floral arrangements. l am drawn to the colors and textures that collect in the sink and buckets- the floral crumbs left behind...With this body of work, I hope to compel viewers to see beyond the overt charms of daily life, and witness the elegance in what is often disregarded. By giving a second look, or reappraisal, of what surrounds you, existence becomes most vibrant.”
