Open Mic Night: Black Voices Speaking History at the Buffalo History Museum
Storytelling. Poetry. Music. Art. There are so many incredible ways to share our perspectives, feelings, and journeys. Join us for Black Voices Speaking History, an open mic-night here at The Buffalo History Museum. This free event offers local talent a chance to show off their skills and be an active and vocal part of history. Come share what inspires you and if you don’t already have inspiration, explore our museum and the Black History Pop-up displays around the museum to create something magical. This is an opportunity for the community to share together, so if you come as an audience member but feel the call to perform, you are welcome to do so! We are proud to be partnering with Buffalo Wordism for this incredible event.
