Get a taste of maple syrup production at Letchworth State Park’s new sugar house! You will see syrup production by many methods throughout the day, including iron pot boiling, Iroquois stone boiling, and with an evaporator. Outdoor educators will lead guided walks to the sugarbush, where you can watch maple sap collecting before your very eyes. If you like, you can purchase a to-go pancake breakfast from the Friends of Letchworth State Park on site. Only cash or check can be accepted for pancake breakfast purchases. Picnic tables will be provided on the grounds of the Humphrey Nature Center. Questions? Call (585)493-3680.
