Looking for a new way to have fun outdoors? Orienteering is a sport in which a map is used to navigate a course; it can be done solo but is also a great family activity! The Buffalo Orienteering Club is holding a "Learn & Practice" event at Chestnut Ridge Park on Tuesday, May 19th at 5:30 PM. Cost is $5 for non-members and pre-registration is required by Monday, May 18. This is a great opportunity to get outside and enjoy one of our beautiful county parks while learning how to read a topographic map and basic compass skills and navigating a beginner orienteering course.
