Kindergarten Readiness Groups

Each week we will be welcoming children ages 3-5 & their caregivers to join us for a 2-hour story time & playgroup to practice social skills under the supervision of pediatric Occupational and Physical therapists.
While children play, caregivers are invited to participate in a question & answer parent-education group led by a pediatric therapist focusing on skills that are required to succeed in & enjoy preschool or kindergarten.
Children will enjoy a story & structured play to enhance their fine & gross motor skills and social skills while adults will be invited to participate in a question & answer group led by a pediatric OT or PT. Weekly topics are only guidelines, each parent education group is intended to be a conversation that addresses the needs of each family individually.

7/16: Picky Eating
7/23: Behavior support
7/30: Toilet Trainings & Self Care Skills
8/6: Sensory Regulation
8/12: Developmental Milestones
8/20: What is an IEP? & Accessing Related Services in School
After registering for each week, you will be sent a survey to identify exactly what types of behaviors or questions that you would like to discuss so that our therapists can prepare resources for you to take home that day. Caregivers are required to remain on the grounds of the facility at all times.
