Home Ecologist: Leaf Power (Basic) At Letchworth

Home Ecologists is an outing series designed for homeschool students. Each topic is offered twice per month. Each outing is open to all ages, but the content level follows a tiered system. The first outing of the month targets introductory-level learning, and the second outing targets middle/higher-level learning. Parents and caregivers can choose any or all programs that may pique the interest and learning levels of their budding ecologists! Wise naturalists have said that May needs to be as big a deal as fall foliage season. The symphony of greens is astounding! But what's going on in the trees to power the show? Find out for yourself using basic observations and hands-on science at one of the park's most impressive overlooks. Meet at Archery Field Overlook. (1 mile or less) Registration: Not required
