Full Rock Band Camp (Week 2)

Beginners are encouraged to sign up for week 1 as we will mainly address the basics of musicianship, learning the instrument, and feeling the music. Those with experience are not required to sign up for week 1, but are more than welcome to meet some new people and to familiarize themselves with playing music in the context of a modern band. Week 2 is not recommended for first time players without attending Week 1 or taking outside lessons. Mount St. Mary's has keyboards, amps, and drum sets on site. Guitar players and bass players should be prepared to have or rent their own instruments. Rental recommendations will be provided by the director upon request. Vocalists will be introduced to another instrument while also working on the different stylings present in rock music. For those who are true beginners, a complimentary introductory lesson is available for outside scheduling prior to the camp after registration has been received.
