Fruition: Growing the Gift of Seed at the Genesee Country Nature Center invites participants to explore the power of seeds, community, and shared growing practices.
Led by Fruition Seeds, this program begins with their one-hour Gift of Seed practice, which explores how sharing seeds can help build resilient gardens and stronger communities. Participants will then move into a hands-on session focused on starting seeds indoors, learning practical techniques for sowing seeds and caring for young plants.
Guests are encouraged, if able, to bring potting mix, containers, and labels for themselves and to share with others. The group will discuss the advantages of different potting mixes and containers while practicing seed-starting techniques together. Participants are also welcome to bring additional seeds or tools to share within the community.
This free program is offered in partnership with Fruition Seeds. While there is no charge to attend, an RSVP is appreciated to help ensure adequate space and materials. The program will take place at the Genesee Country Nature Center at Genesee Country Village & Museum.
