Framing Done Right

So you’ve created your masterpiece and you’d like to frame it, but now what? In this three-hour lecture and demonstration, Deanna will give a detailed overview of the framing process, beginning to end. She will go over how to flatten a watercolor painting, measure your work of art for ordering a custom made framing kit, and assemble the pre-cut metal frame with matting and glass.

She will go over how to flatten a watercolor painting, measure your work of art for ordering a custom made framing kit, and assemble the pre-cut metal frame with matting and glass. The class will finish with a demonstration of adding framing points to a wood frame and wiring your frames for hanging.
This class is suitable for anyone 16 and older looking to expand their knowledge of art framing. This onsite class will be held at the Botanical Gardens in the Administration Building.
