Explore Buffalo | Kids Out and About Buffalo

Explore Buffalo

Explore Buffalo is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Buffalo & WNY's great architecture, history, & neighborhoods through quality education to learners of all ages! We offer walking, bike, bus, & kayak tours, as well as tours of Silo City and unique locations all over WNY. We also offer a wide range of on-site and outreach offerings, including a Speaker Series in the fall and winter and Guest Speakers that can be booked to come to your facility any time of year!

Many classrooms, home school groups, & youth groups bring their kids out on tours with us for a hands-on learning experience unlike any other. Kids can explore City Hall, Canalside, Silo City, Downtown, & more! We offer on-site youth workshops throughout the year, including a Design Thinking Workshop and a Boy Scout Architecture Merit Badge Workshop (offered in partnership with the Darwin Martin House). Explore Buffalo can even bring the fun to your classroom or rec center with our Architecture & Use Outreach workshop!

Don't just hear the stories about our city - come out & experience them for yourself!
