Erie Canal Traveling Museum at the Audubon Branch Library

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 09/21/2019
The Erie Canal comes to life through objects! The Traveling Museum showcases artifacts from the mid-1800s through the turn of the century, all items used on or around the Canal for domestic chores, farming and husbandry, hunting and fishing, shipping and hauling, and daily living. The Teaching Artist will interpret the artifacts and encourage exploration, use of critical thinking skills and imagination to understand the importance and function of the various items.
