July 22nd- 26th | Junior Camp Ages 6-11

Minecraft Amusement Park Maker (AM Camp 9am-12pm):

This camp will help foster our young engineer’s ability to work through the engineering design process by having students build their very own Minecraft amusement parks! Students will have to navigate a number of engineering and teamwork challenges to do so. Students will draft blueprints and plans for their parks on paper before beginning to create it in Minecraft to make it as much like the process of designing a real amusement park as possible.

World Games (PM Camp 1pm-4pm):

In this Camp, students will be using the Engineering Design Process to explore the physics of multiple sports as they create a variety of handson projects. Throughout the week, they’ll enjoy exploring 5 different sporting events and will have friendly competitions to accumulate Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for their teams.

Apprentice World Games (AM Camp 9am-12pm):

In this Camp, students will be using the Engineering Design Process to explore the physics of multiple sports as they create a variety of hands-on projects. Throughout the week, they’ll apply what they learn while exploring 5 different sporting events and will have friendly competitions to accumulate Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for their teams.

Apprentice Minecraft Amusement Park Maker (PM Camp 1pm-4pm):

This camp will have students build their very own Minecraft amusement parks! Students will have to navigate a number of engineering and teamwork challenges to do so. Students will learn electrical engineering using Redstone and Civil Engineering by planning their ride locations and building roller coasters.

August 19th- 23rd | Apprentice Camp Ages 8-12 

Apprentice VEX Robotics Clawbot Camp (AM Camp 9am-12pm):

Our VEX Clawbot camp is designed to expose students to STEM fundamentals within the context of building a robot. Students will compete with their robots they build, test and improve on in games full of challenges and fun. Without even realizing it, students will begin to instinctively apply these lessons as they advance through the program. This hands_on process, especially for younger students, establishes an intuitive and deep-rooted expertise that simply cannot be replicated by traditional teaching methods.  

Apprentice Amazing Race (PM Camp 1pm-4pm):

Pack your bags, engineers, and get ready for an adventure! Students will carefully engineer vehicles that can traverse the most treacherous terrains, brave the highest seas, and soar above the clouds! Over the next five days teams will have to work together to see who is able to travel the farthest around the world. This trek around the world will require students to design their very own boat, plane, and even a rocket!

August 26th- 30th | Junior Camp Ages 5-7

Lego WeDo Adventure Stories (AM Camp 9am-12pm):

In this camp, we will be exploring a variety of coding and technology skills as well as working on group collaboration, critical thinking, and hands_on_skills! Children will have the opportunity to build an airplane, sailboat, flying bird, and more! They also learn how to program and code the projects to move and make noises.

Junior Inventor's Workshop (PM Camp 1pm-4pm):

We have opened up the workshop of fun, creativity, and of course_engineering! Over the course of the program, students will invent new machines and explore creative design solutions using the Engineering Design Process. Discover all about 2D animation, simple robotics, and make your own Sketch Bot inside the Engineering For Kids Inventor’s Workshop.
