Earth Day in Action

It’s a Party for the Planet this Earth Day and we want you to get in on the ACTION!
Come explore the Aquarium of Niagara on April 26th and 27th and discover how you can make a difference for the natural world. Grab your “passport” to explore activities throughout the building, ranging from making seed paper to learning about bird and monarch migrations! You’ll also learn about how the Aquarium of Niagara is involved in various AZA SAFE (Saving Animals From Extinction) programs.
We are excited to welcome partners from:
- NYS Parks
- NYS Department of Environmental Conservation
- UB Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE)
- Buffalo Women of Environmental Learning & Leadership (BWELL)
- Birds on the Niagara
Activities run from 10am – 3pm and are included with general admission.
On both Saturday and Sunday morning, we will have our FREE Nature Stories Trail Walk, focused on the basics of nature journaling. Please register for this walk so we know you’re coming!
Plus, with conservation trading cards to collect and suggested naturalist apps to download, you’ll be able to take your adventures outside of the Aquarium walls, too!
