DinoFest

Get ready to stomp and roar, because DinoFEST, presented by Fidelis Care, is returning to the Buffalo Museum of Science. With special extended hours, families can participate in a variety of dinosaur-themed activities during this annual celebration of prehistoric science, including: Dive into a giant dinosaur dig pit and “excavate” giant foam blocks to uncover a giant fossil, Check out fossilized ancient invertebrates from the Museum’s collection, Sift for minerals in a giant sluice, Visit and play with Vinny and Teddy, two life-like dinosaur friends from Ravage Production – don’t worry, they won’t bite! Practice walking like a dinosaur with a massive dino tail, Visit with community partners like the Penn Dixie Paleontological and Outdoor Education Center and Buffalo Geological Society, Wish the Museum’s biggest residents – Seymour the Mastodon and Stanley the Albertosaurus – a happy birthday!
