Cosmic Adventures blasts off with a full day of hands‑on science, live shows, and out‑of‑this‑world discoveries. From the birth of stars to the force behind rocket launches, you’ll explore the universe like never before. The Challenger Center team and BMS researchers will be ready to answer your biggest space questions.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., dive into space exploration with:
- Casual conversations about the cosmos, telescope demos, and a hands‑on activity with the Buffalo Astronomical Association
- A Mars‑themed mission with the Challenger Center: drive a robot on Mars, repair a rover, explore the stars, and create your own mission artwork
- A deep dive into solar cycles with BMS Research Associate Tim Collins
And, enjoy hands‑on demos, activities, and solar viewing:
- Solar Saturday rooftop viewing (weather permitting)
