Computer Coding for Kids
I would like to introduce you to a new after school program designed to teach kids computer science through fun and engaging platforms such as Scratch (which utilizes block coding), Python, Java, and C++. We also use robots, Raspberry PI, and drones.
Computers are central to each of our lives and yet there are so few who understand the language behind the screen. There are currently 25,000 computer science jobs in New York and only 5,000 students graduating with degrees in computer science. Students can gain a valuable skill by learning how to code from an early age.
We teach students from ages 7-17, from the beginner to the experienced. There are so many after school activities like dance, martial arts, or sports, but there are few computer programming activities. Most opportunities to learn coding are often short lived, through 2-6 week summer camps and often cost $1,000 or more. We offer continuous, ongoing support for students whose schools may not offer computer science or as a supplement to those that do.
We help students at their level. Kids can learn in a classroom format for beginners or work on advanced projects through our 2-1 mentoring program.
Why not stop by and give us a try, for free?
