*The event has already taken place on this date: Sun, 10/23/2022
Join us for another Wegmans Family Day at our annual BOOtanical Celebration! It will be the most spooktacular, indoor family event of the year! Explore the spooky scenery and activities that will be fall fun for all! Creatures have taken over the Botanical Gardens for our new Coleus and Creatures Exhibit. See all the exciting plant creatures and learn about pre historic creatures from Past & Present with a scavenger hunt. Be sure to check out the carnivorous plant collection, learn with BioFacts about Venus Fly Traps, and dig for fossils with Penn Dixie! Also joining us for the day will be Hawk Creek Wildlife Center, Hahn’s Honey Bees, and REPCO. The Buffalo Bookmobile will also be on-site with some awesome dino books!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Pick up an activity booklet to complete throughout your adventure through the Botanical Gardens and turn it in for a prize! While you’re exploring the grounds, be sure to check out our carnivorous plant collection and a spooktacular train display by the WNY Garden Railway Society. This is a candy-free event! We highly encourage adults and children to wear costumes for this spooktacular occasion!
E-Tickets - E-TICKETS are recommended for all visitors. Walk-ins may be turned away if our visitor capacity has been met. Please arrive within 15 minutes of your arrival time. Most visitors spend 45 minutes-1.5 hours to complete their visit, but you are welcome to stay until we close to the public at 4pm.
