Discover how marine life has inspired artists for centuries! Create your own aquatic art, and learn some of the science that goes along with the creation of these various art forms: gyotaku, seaweed marbling, sand art, bubble painting, and more. We will also spend time watching the aquarium animals to inspire your own masterpieces!
This camp is offered twice in summer 2019: July 15-19 for kids ages 6-10 and August 12-16 for kids ages 8-12. There are also two "Jr. Counselor" spots available for kids 15-17 each week.
Jr. Counselor spots are for kids who have outgrown the traditional age of participation but still want to attend camp. Jr. Counselors will help supervise younger campers, help with set up and clean up, and assist in the activities.
