Be transported to another universe at The Strong! Dress as your favorite family-friendly science-fiction character. Meet and take photos with costumers from sci-fi fan clubs with the 501st Legion, Rebel Legion, and Superhero Alliance of Western NY. Defeat the bad guys in a game of Blast-A-Trooper, put your skills to the test and enjoy some droid racing and other intergalactic play, and view a variety of science fiction and space-related LEGO builds with the Rochester Lego Users Group. Ready to take to the big screen? Perform scenes from iconic sci-fi shows and get some acting tips from professional actor Eric Loughlin from Take5 Studios. Practice for your “audition” and then show off the video to your friends and family!
Timed Activities
Moon Prism Power Meet and Greets: Fighting evil by moonlight. Winning love by daylight. Meet the cutest fighters in the galaxy and snap a photo with them! – 11:15 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1:15 p.m., 2:15 p.m.
Big Hero Meet and Greet: Meet and take a photo with the squishiest and friendliest hero in the galaxy! – 11:45 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 1:45 p.m., 2:45 p.m.
Lightspeed Drawing Lessons: Take an art lesson with a local children’s book illustrator to learn how to quickly and easily draw your favorite alien companions! – 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.
