Enter a golden blizzard as tens of millions of monarch butterflies fill the sky in the hidden highlands of Mexico, filmed in giant-screen format years ago when there were far more butterflies than today. Take flight alongside migratory birds navigating by sun, stars, and instinct. Witness the mysterious migration of 100 million red crabs on tiny Christmas Island, and the affectionate curiosity of gray whales in the beautiful lagoons of Mexico's Baja California. With spectacular cinematography filling the Star Theater dome, Amazing Journeys brings you another fine survey of natural wonders directed by George Casey, four-time Academy Award nominee and director of Forces of Nature and Ring of Fire.
