10 Week Classical Education Program

Full day sign ups will also get weekly afternoon extracurriculars that include skill building subjects such as Junior Chef, a course on nutrition with science experiments and hands on cooking demos and Foraging and Medicine class that teaches about finding food and healing remedies right in the backyard, how to make apothecary goods from scratch along with a rotation of many other specialty classes.
Our 10 Week Program blends grades 1 through 4 and 5 through 8 and separates students into groups based on their abilities during Literacy and Math instruction. Pre-k through Kindergarten is a weekly package offered in the morning half while High schoolers are able to sign up for 10 weeks of afternoon extracurriculars.
SOCIALIZATION is important and a necessary component of our program! Students are given an opportunity to socialize with their peers during Lunchtime (12 PM) Social period.
SAFETY has been our foremost priority from day one. Members can learn and teach in peace while our facility is continuously monitored and protected by dedicated, trained guards provided by Hightower Security Services of Rochester. Mentors, aides, volunteers and any other adults providing services and assistance to students must have a background check completed beforehand.
FULL DAY SCHEDULE
8:50 AM Pledge of Allegiance
9 AM to 12 PM “CORE SUBJECTS”
INCLUDING:
- Starting Routine
- Literacy Essentials breakaway sessions
- Main Mentor and Literacy Aides provide group lessons based on grade or reading and writing level
- Creative Writing or Arts & Crafts
- Snacks and Stories
- Dimensions Math breakaway sessions
- Math Mentor works with groups based on grade or math level
- 1776 History during the first 5 weeks
- Science during the last 5 weeks
12 PM to 12:55 PM LUNCHTIME SOCIAL
1 PM to 2:55 PM “EXTRACURRICULARS”
3PM Pick up
