Summer Sampler: Farm Kids

You can bet the farm your children will have fun at this camp! Spend a week learning and doing at the Pioneer Farm. Help with animal care, collect eggs, tend crops, grind corn, and horse around! Plant the seed for a lifelong love of learning.

With the GCV&M Historic Village as the setting for adventure, campers dressed in period clothing are immersed in lives and times of young people of the 19th century. Campers discover the Pioneer Farm and sample Village life or dive deeper into 19th century trades, skills, and key historical events.
- Week-long day camp Monday through Friday

- $250 / week (10% Discount for GCV&M Members)

- Camp bus provided daily with convenient Rochester stops! Advance registration required
- Before and after care available

- 4:00 – 5:00 PM
- Healthy lunch options available
- Camp nurse provided (verification of immunizations & Health History Report required)
- On the first day of class, youngsters receive a loan of period clothing, which becomes "their" outfit for the week! (a $40 cash deposit is required and will be refunded when the costume is returned.)
