Activate your voice, body & imagination. During this theater themed class, campers will learn how to use props & invent their own characters while practicing body language & personal expression. They will then use their new skills around the village, & put on a performance at the historic Davis Opera House. The upstairs was an elegant performance hall where musicians, lecturers, & the occasional bear could be seen.

With the GCV&M Historic Village as the setting for adventure, campers dressed in period clothing are immersed in lives and times of young people of the 19th century. Campers discover the Pioneer Farm and sample Village life or dive deeper into 19th century trades, skills, and key historical events.

Camp nurse provided (verification of immunizations & Health History Report required)
On the first day of class, youngsters receive a loan of period clothing, which becomes "their" outfit for the week! (a $40 cash deposit is required and will be refunded when the costume is returned.)
