How to Eat Like a Child
Grades 3-8, $59, Monday-Thursday, 1pm-4pm, July 20-August 6, Final performance August 6 at 6:30pm
Musical theater camp - this year with puppets and sass! Kids will explore the building blocks of musical theater and participate in fun activities resulting in an outdoor theater production appropriate for the Covid era. Looking for backstage helpers also. Supported by Wonderspark Puppets.
HS/College, $20, July 6-July 30

Grades 3-8, $42, Wednesday and Friday, 10am to noon, July 8 - August 7
Get creative at this art-making camp. Construct public sculptures out of scrap materials, make puppets to star in the musical theater camp, create public art and more.
Pre-K, $42, Tuesdays, 10am to noon, July 7 - August 4
All areas of the arts will be devoured by the youngest SCA students this summer. A true extravaganza: there will be painting, singing, dancing, nature walks, performing and more. Come prepared to get messy! Parents may be required to stay to help assist in distancing requirements.
To the Beat
Grades 3-8, Fridays, 1-2pm, July 10 - August 7, $15
Does your child march to the beat of a different drummer? Meet each Friday as we create a wild and crazy street/marching band. Bring an instrument or something to bang on. High School and adult helpers welcome. Funding provided by the Springville All Star Marching Band.
Ages 5 and up, Fridays, 1-2pm, July 10 - August 7, $35
Shed the ballet slippers and let’s drop dance into unusual, exterior spaces. Good for all ability levels. We’ll partner up with our new SCA marching band to make music really come alive!
All Ages, $27, Thursdays, 10:00-11:00am, 5 sessions, July 9-August 6
Was there ever a better time to come together and play music? Anyone can join - open to all ages, all levels (adults too!). Bring your own uke or rent one from SCA for $5. Learn advanced chords or some advanced fingerpicking. Class will be split according to ability. Later in the summer, join The Ladles on stage for an original song.
Sketch Comedy Improv
Middle School/High School, $35, Saturdays, 10:30-11:30am, 4 sessions, July 11-August 1
Think you are quick on your feet? Got lots of attitude? Learn some basic comedy skills at weekly sessions that include theater games, improv exercises and lots of laughs!
We are looking for our first group of Junior Interns! Open to any students of Middle School / High School Ages. Help with set construction, produce media content, public art installation and more with programs tailored to your interests. For safety, all workshops will be held outdoors when possible. Students should wear appropriate clothing and sunscreen. Meet at Fiddler’s Green gazebo, across from Springville Center for the Arts, 37 N. Buffalo Street, Springville. Register online at: SpringvilleArts.org
