Music Academy of Western New York Sign Up for 2026 – 2027 Show Choir
MAWNY Show Choirs are renowned groups of boys and girls throughout WNY. They have performed for numerous community events, been featured multiple times on TV, & published in various news articles. Our competition teams have traveled to Ohio, West Virginia, Rhode Island, NYC, and Toronto winning numerous top title awards, soloist awards. and scholarships. MAWNY Show Choirs have also performed in Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Studios!
We pride ourselves on providing a safe, fun, and inclusive environment where students are taught how to sing, dance, act, as well as make strong friendships and bonds with the students around them!
Students are given a unique theme each year, in which the storyline is portrayed via the songs they sing and dance to. Through facial expressions, acting, costuming, staging, and props, they convey their original story set to song! It is a true cumulation of singing, dancing, and acting to popular broadway, pop, disney, and sometimes even classical music!
