Lual Mayen: A Game Developer’s Inspirational Journey

Delight in a presentation by game developer Lual Mayen and be inspired as he talks about his life as a refugee in northern Uganda and how it led to his love of video games. Discover why he created Salaam, a video game teaching peace and conflict resolution.

Mayen is the founder of Junub Games, which utilizes gaming to build bridges between communities. In 2018, Mayen was named a Global Gaming Citizen at The Game Awards. He is currently working with Facebook to publish Salaam as an instant game. Included with general museum admission.
