A Horse of Course: Girl Scout Resident Camp

Program includes all levels of horseback riding. Lessons focus on balance, seat equitation, control at a walk & trot (canter for more advanced riders), skills, and horse management .

Program includes all levels of horseback riding. Lessons focus on balance, seat equitation, control at a walk & trot (canter for more advanced riders), skills, and horse management including basic barn chores, grooming, cleaning the stalls, and feeding. At the end of your two weeks have a Mini Horse Show for family and friends, and win prizes for showmanship and sportsmanship. Campers will earn the horse patch with rider level.
Camp runs July 15-27, from Sunday at 1 p.m. to Friday at 7 p.m. Girls will remain at camp for two weeks. For girls in grades 4-6 in fall 2018. Fee is $630 per girl. Registration closes July 2. Register here: https://goo.gl/m2yZYQ. Financial aid is available.
