For its 20th annual Native American Winter Games, Ganondagan will again offer numerous Seneca and Haudenosaunee winter experiences, many reflecting back to when Ganondagan was an active 17th century Seneca village and winter was a busy time both indoors and out.

“We are excited to welcome our neighbors to Ganondagan to enjoy some time outside, experience some winter traditions and to have some fun! It’s great to be able to share our culture in this way.” Said Ansley Jemison (Seneca). “Typically, people interact with culture in performative or artistic ways. Our Native American Winter games allows us to share each others company, play games, be outside, and enjoy the gifts the Creator has provided us. “

Native American Winter Games sponsor is the Rochester Area Community Foundation.
