Dutch Oven Cook-Off and Round-Up

Calling all Kindergarten – 5th Graders (boys and girls) and their parents who are interested in Cub Scouts! Come join us at our annual Roundup on Sunday, September 23rd at 1:00pm, and meet the Cub Scouts and the Leaders of Cub Scout Pack 272. This takes place at the Cleveland Heights Christian Church located at 4774 Union Road Cheektowaga, NY. Come join in the fun of our Dutch oven Cook-off.
Primarily during the school year and at least once a month in summer, Cub Scouts do fun things with other kids! They get to wear a cool uniform, go places, and see things. They play games, sports, do community service projects, and build things, like race cars and bird houses. Want to learn a secret code? Want to learn about wild animals? Go Cub Scouting!
There is a reason for everything boys and girls do in Cub Scouting. Apart from the fun and excitement, the aim of Cub Scouting is to help boys and girls grow into good citizens who are strong in character and physically fit. This is why we say that Cub Scouting is Fun with a Purpose.
Parents also take part in Pack and Den leadership when you and your son(s) and daughter(s) join as Tiger Cubs. Pack and Den leadership are composed entirely of adult volunteers who enjoy sharing their time and resources to provide a quality Scouting program. Already know you want to be a leader? Just let us know when we meet you. We’ll have registration forms available for you and your son(s) and daughter(s).
