Day Camp Programs at Camp Centerland

Located on the Irving M. Shuman Campgrounds, Camp Centerland features hiking trails, large open field, outdoor pool, and ropes course with zip line and rock wall. The camper’s experience is enriched in our Gretchen Gross Omanut Art Center and our Rein Family Amphitheater. Camp Centerland’s programming is built on the aspirational arches model, in which campers build on skills they learn over the years at camp.

Junior Camp (grades K-2)

שרון Sharon: Kindergarten

נגב Negev: Grades 1-2

Junior Camp is designed to instill confidence and enjoyment in campers while they start to grow independently, and explore our Jewish traditions and culture. Days are filled with fun, friends, and wonderful activities. Junior Campers may participate in two Stay Lates and our special theme nights with games and activities.

Senior Camp (grades 3-6)

Yehuda: Grades 3-4

Atid: Grades 5-6

Senior Camp will challenge and excite campers as they build character, form lasting friendships, and learn about Jewish traditions and culture with our highly-trained and caring staff. Campers will join in camp ruach (spirit) and gain a sense of belonging while developing new skills through various camp activities. Senior campers will attend weekly group activities in addition to an entire afternoon of choice.

Teen Camp (grades 7-10)

Discovery Camp: Grades 7-9

Camper In Training (C.I.T.): Grade 10

Looking for something to explore? Time to Unplug from technology? Discovery Campers enjoy three days a week at camp and two weekly field trips around the Western New York area. Each week while at camp, Disco enjoys all of what camp has to offer. Over the course of the summer, campers will participate in community service projects, local field trips and two 3-day and 2 night extended overnight trips. Our Camper in Training program will offer leadership training, program planning, and camper group involvement. C.I.T.s will tackle topics such as goal setting, time management, team work, listening, and communication skills during group training sessions. They will have direct experience working with campers.
